Volunteer

We are always keen to hear from women who are interested in volunteering with SBRCC; there are many different ways that you can get involved.

Volunteer Support Workers are trained to a high standard and provide support and information to women and girls who have experienced rape and other forms of sexual violence.  All our volunteers receive continuous personal development training in-house and from external agencies.  Volunteers provide face to face support, telephone support and email support.  Every Support Worker will be required to complete a comprehensive training programme, attend regular support and supervision sessions, team meetings and peer support.

You may be interested in becoming a member of the Board of Trustees, or have an interest in admin, fundraising, social media, website design, events/promotion or campaigning.

If you are interested in being involved in any way, please call our office on 01896 661 070 for an informal chat.  We would love to hear from you.
