Volunteer Support Workers are trained to a high standard and provide support and information to women and girls who have experienced rape and other forms of sexual violence. All our volunteers receive continuous personal development training in-house and from external agencies.
The Scottish Borders Rape Crisis Centre has always relied on the generosity of the people in the Borders. We are very proud to say that we have had many generous donations over the years which have allowed us to do more for you.
Our service, along with many other women's services, is always looking for additional funding to run our services. We need your help to keep our service moving forward. Can you help?
Training, workshops and information sessions are available on a range of issues including working with survivors of rape, sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. We can also train you to understand the trauma from sexual violence and domestic abuse.
We’re always looking for young people’s views on sexual violence, relationships, sexualisation in the media, gender or any of the other issues discussed on this website.
