Breathing Space

Free and anonymous helpline service for people with depression, mental health issues and those who may just be feeling unusually worried or in need of someone to talk to.

Advisers use British Sign Language (BSL) to offer online advice, information and support for deaf people in Scotland through a webcam. Their BSL service is open: Wednesday 6pm - 10pm, Thursday 6:30pm - 10pm, Saturday 9am - 12:30pm and Sunday 2pm - 6pm.

Domestic Abuse Advocacy Support Service (DAAS)

The DAAS Service will support victims and their families following the initial incident through risk assessment and safety planning. They will support victims through any court proceedings and refer on to support services, such as the Children 1st Borders – Domestic Abuse Service, who will be able to provide long term practical and emotional support.
